Together with Tracy Unified School District, Girls N Gears set up a booth at the Tracy Earth Day Event on April 27. We talked to hundreds of people and spread Girls N Gears and our mission, and held various fun activities for the kids to try and experience!

We visited George Kelley Elementary School for their open house. We worked with 50+ students and loved seeing their faces light up when completing an activity, whether that was making a light-up bracelet, a vibrating robot, or trying our Tower Challenge!

Recently, Girls N Gears organized a Tour with Intuitive Surgical. Attendees loved learning about the ion robot and how it works, and were fascinated to learn about the work that goes into creating a surgical robot. Furthermore, students were able to learn about how to become a biomedical engineer as well as get advice on future career paths and how to accomplish them through an organized presentation.

Girls N Gears had been conducting STEM workshops for girls through the year 2023, one of the most popular among all is the BristleBots workshop. Girls make small robots that vibrates and move in all directions. Ton of FUN!

Last month Guide N Grow conducted a Robotics Showcase by inviting Mountain House FTC robotics team BattleBots and FRC robotics team San Jose Gear Heads. It was a big hit in the community with 300+ people attending across two sessions.
